How and what to observe in Montessori Environment :

• Please leave your footwear outside before entering the environment.
• Maintain absolute silence in the class.
• Please do not step on the mats as they are the place of work.
• Do not touch the material as they are organized according to sequence.
• Do not disturb the child during the work by giving instructions or touching his material.
• In case the child talks to you , please smile and stay passive or say that you have come to watch their work.
• Talk softly by standing closer to the child and do not respond to him / her from far.
• Observe all the children, not only your child during work.
• Observe the child how they choose , perform , repeat and wind up their activity.
• Observe how child interact and observe other children at work.
• Observe how they correct their mistakes by self – judgement.
• Quietly leave the environment after you finish your observation.
• Please clarify your doubts with the Directress.
